Supporting schools for a brighter future

Education is an investment and when we chose to move to Fountain Valley, my wife and I made the investment in our children’s future through Fountain Valley Schools. With Fountain Valley School District’s record of excellence and the small town feel of the community and local businesses, we couldn’t have made a better choice. We’ve volunteered at our children’s elementary school and I’ve served as PTO President, and now I’m looking to give back and continue FVSD’s tradition by running for the Fountain Valley School Board.

I am a career educator with 20 years of experience working in public education in high schools and at the district level. I started as a high school counselor at La Quinta High School in Westminster where I helped countless students prepare and apply for colleges, universities, and career tech schools. I then held supervisor and coordinator positions at the Garden Grove Unified School District office before returning to the school sites as an Assistant Principal where I support teachers and families while working to keep students safe.

I’ve worked closely with my Superintendent and district leadership and understand what it takes to support a large school district from providing teacher training to analyzing data and trends for continual improvement. Student success and opportunities to achieve their goals has always been my top priority.
